Procedeo Group was proud to join Canutillo ISD, students, and community members to celebrate the start of renovation projects at Jose H. Damian Elementary School the first campus to break ground under the 2024 Canutillo Bond.
In a fun and memorable kickoff, eight young “construction workers”, all Damian students, wore hard hats and safety vests to break through a paper wall, symbolizing the exciting changes ahead.
Procedeo has worked closely with district leadership, campus staff, architects, and contractors to plan and coordinate the $7.4 million in upgrades at Damian. These improvements will enhance safety and security, modernize learning environments, and ensure the campus is equipped for future growth.
Bond-funded upgrades at Damian include a secure entry vestibule, new security cameras, an upgraded PA system, wireless infrastructure improvements, HVAC replacements, roof repairs, a new multipurpose space, and a student restrooms. The campus improvements were designed by Mijares-Mora Architects, with Jordan Foster Construction as the general contractor.
Procedeo is proud to announce the successful completion of the Webex update at Jose Damian Elementary School, marking a major step forward in modernizing communication across Canutillo ISD. As the first elementary campus to receive this upgrade, Jose Damian now sets the standard for schools districtwide.
The update replaced all existing phones in offices with new Webex devices and introduced a phone in every classroom, enhancing safety and connectivity for staff and students.
Key Features of the Upgrade:
✅ Front Desk Paging: Direct communication with individual classrooms
✅ School-Wide PA System: Streamlined announcements across campus
✅ Panic Button: Enhanced emergency response capabilities
With this upgrade, Jose Damian Elementary is now better equipped to support real-time communication and ensure a safer, more connected learning environment. Stay tuned as more CISD campuses receive their Webex updates in the coming months!
