Bond Work in Progress at Garcia Elementary School!

Bond-funded improvements are underway at Garcia Elementary as construction continues to enhance campus functionality and comfort. Current work includes the construction of a new staff restroom, along with the installation of new ductwork and rooftop units (RTUs) to improve air circulation and efficiency. These upgrades reflect Canutillo ISD’s ongoing commitment to providing safe, modern, and supportive learning environments for both students and staff.

Bond Renovations Continue with Groundbreaking at Garcia Elementary!

Canutillo ISD, community members, and students gathered at Garcia Elementary School to celebrate the start of renovations funded by the 2024 Canutillo Bond. This marks the third groundbreaking of six renovation projects scheduled to begin this year, as part of the $387 million bond package approved by voters in May 2024.

At Garcia Elementary, the $7 million project will focus on HVAC upgrades, security improvements, technology enhancements, and other infrastructure improvements ensuring the campus is better equipped to support student learning and safety for years to come.

As the Owner’s Representative and Project Manager for the Bond program, Procedeo Group has worked closely with CISD leadership, architects, and contractors to plan and oversee the work.

The project was designed by Mijares-Mora Architects and is being built by Jordan Foster Construction.
