The future Northwest Early College High School is coming together, and we’re excited to see progress happening across the campus! Best of all, the project is on schedule and moving forward toward the next major milestones.

🏫 Building A: Cold-formed metal studs are being installed, and steel erection is underway.
🧱 Building B: Building pad excavation and underground utility work are in progress.
🏗️ Building C: The concrete pad has been completed, setting the stage for the next phase.

Plenty is happening on site, and we can’t wait to watch this new campus continue to take shape! Made possible through the 2024 Bond Program, this project represents an investment in the future of Northwest Early College High School students and our community.

This early phase marks an exciting step forward in delivering a modern campus designed to support innovative learning opportunities and student success.

On October 1, 2025, we officially broke ground on the new state-of-the-art Northwest Early College High School, marking a milestone in the district’s 2024 bond program.

Thanks to the support of Canutillo voters in May 2024, the District is investing in new infrastructure that will uplift students, families, and the broader community. The new campus will replace the existing portable building footprint and offer a modern, 21st century learning environment that meets the evolving needs of both high school and early college students.

Our commitment extends beyond bricks and mortar: we believe in building opportunity.

As construction evolves, PROCEDEO will continue providing updates, maintaining accountability for schedule, budget, and quality. We look forward to the day when students walk through the doors of this new campus, equipped with the tools, spaces, and inspiration to reach their fullest potential.

The schematic designs are the first detailed drawings of what this new campus could look like. The designs will be on display in the main lobby of the school and will be updated when the final design is approved by the Board of Trustees.

Their excitement reminds us exactly why we do this. The future is bright in Canutillo!
